Arghhh!!!

Have been trying to change the outlook of my page and for every template that I picked, there are bound to be errors - the title is not looking the way it should be, some entries have gone missing, the dates doesn't show up, the pictures get all mixed up, the layout runs....and the list continues.

It has been close to 20 templates now and not even one of them fits! The page is looking way off and all I had wanted was just a simple design.

Something must have been wrong with the codes and am pulling my hair out on how to get them right.

So darn frustrating!

Another rant

I honestly do not want to bring this up. But it has come to a point where it breached my tolerance level, once again.

I am working with morons. Too harsh. How about fools? Well, they are not exactly stupid. Yea, I think this should fit. Kids. I am working with kids. A bunch of 10 year old kids. Inexperienced and yet didn't want to learn. All talk and no action, empty vessels to be obvious. Fooled around during official meetings. No sense of urgency. Ignorant of what is really going on around. Too lax. Too naive. What in the world have I gotten myself into? Babysitting?

I do not understand. Is it me? Am I being too serious? Well, I believe everyone should be when it comes down to business. Am I being too detailed? Well, we are talking about money matters here. Am I pushing too hard? Well, we should be addressing issues and have it solved the soonest possible.

I can't stand it if questions go unanswered. Words not turned into actions. And actions not worked on promptly. Or no updates or feed backs provided in between. This is not the way I do things. This is not the way most people I know do things either.

So, you guys have got to buck up and change your ways. I am not degrading myself for your sake.

Bored to the bones

It's already 4 months! I have initially allowed myself 1 month. The max 2. But look at where am I now. Still at home, reading books of 600 pages each week along with hot hot strawberry teas. Borders have become my most frequent hangout. Although it's been pretty cool to wake up at 11am each day and laze on the couch with my books in tow, it can be pretty daunting waiting for the phone to ring, with good news on the other end.

To keep myself from thinking yang bermacam-macam, I have come up with bermacam-macam ideas to keep myself occupied:

1) Join Amazing Race Asia
2) Participate in Miss Astro Chinese International
3) Help out at a fried chicken stall
4) Tryout for Air Asia cabin crew
5) Become a personal assistant to some local celebrity
6) Turn my blog into a money making machine

Although I'm more in favour of the last idea, but nah, it's not going to work when there are thousands of other bloggers out there competing to be the next Kenny Sia. If I had thought about that 10 years ago, it would be an entirely different story. But now, all you need to do is learn ABC, write something about your pet goldfish or the frog by the pond and you'll be featured on Nuffnang. I'll pass.

And yeah, they are just ideas. None to be put into action. So, I guess I shall just get back to my books then. And pray that the phone will ring real soon.

Wish me luck!

Dumb dumb me

I sometimes don't even understand myself. I wouldn't blame anyone who doesn't.

The dumb me had decided to settle for uncertainty and interest rather than a high paying job, with flexi hours and easy workloads. Well, aren't those what I've been dreaming of having all these while?

I look at the rest and go green with envy with the fancy titles, the vast opportunities given and the high monthly incomes. But when it got to me, I chose to let go and pursue something which I would be more interested instead.

The rest comes in secondary. It's the interest that matters now.

Yea, call me dumb.

I don't like this...

I don't like people to leave...
I don't like to miss them...
I don't like to know that it won't be the same again...
I don't like to look back and wished that they are still here...
I don't like to look at pictures and bring up memories...
I don't like to miss the laughters and the time spent together...
I don't like the answer to "Why did you have to go?"...
I don't like to think about how are they doing...
I don't like the feeling of not knowing when I could see them again...

I just don't like all of it!

My way!

Time to bring out the princess in me. Geee! This is going to be fun.

I've been tolerating a lot of people. Yes. I put their needs and their feelings above mine. I think about them first before I think about myself. I made way for them. I was being polite. I was being courteous. It's called social manners. Right.

Wrong! Why the hell should I be so well-mannered? I shall tolerate no more. I would like to think about me now. Me. Myself. And I. No one else. It's gonna be my way. How I want it. Where I want it. When I want it. My call. If people don't like it, then fine. I don't give a damn.

Princessess usually get what they want. Okay. I'm no real princess. So I might not get what I want. But, at least, I get to give people a hard time. And to tick of their anger a little bit.
